- A WALK ACROSS AMERICA FOR "DIABETES" -

F.A.Q.

Q: How can I help or assist you on your journey?
A: I'm walking to raise money for diabetes research, please contribute by visiting the "DONATE" page, and donate to the American Diabetes Association.

Q: Do you have diabetes?
A: No, however my grandmother who past away had the disease.

Q: Do you work or get paid from the American Diabetes Association?
A: I am strictly a volunteer for the American Diabetes Association.  I receive no portions from donations or pay from ADA.

A: No, I live off of my small business back in New York and savings.

Q: Why are you doing this?
A: Please visit "Purpose" page.

Q: When will you complete your journey?
A: Summer of 2013

Q: How do you travel?
A: I'm walking the local roads from New York to Ohio.  There onward to California I plan on walking the American Discovery Trail.

Q: Do you hitchhike?

Q: Do you get bored?
A: Probably once, I was listening to some audiobook I wasn't enjoying.

Q: Are those ski poles you're walking with?
A: They are called hiking, trekking, or walking poles.  They are good for staying upright, setting pace, balance, walking steep terrain, clearing large gaps, moving aside branches, and warding off animals -- without them I'm not sure how I would make it.
